450R

The KONTRA 450R is a craft built for professional users. Based on the standard 450 platform, the 450R additionally has a bespoke deck moulding to allow for orthopedic board stowage and greater strength for rescue situations. It's hull profile combines the advantages of a RIB sponson with the convenience of a spacious displacement boat - combining space, stability, seakeeping and performance. The high and fine bow combined with underwater hull profile ensures a dry and smooth ride making for a very capable craft in all conditions. It has a double-shell construction with many buoyancy chambers, meaning it is practically unsinkable. Offered in three main configurations:

  • 450R: Basic open boat for tiller controlled outboards

  • 450RCC: Fitted with centre console with jockey seat & wheel for balance & visibility

  • 450RC: Fitted with side console & wheel for full through boat access

An immensely capable craft with a plethora of optional upgrades and accessories, ensure the 450R can be tailored to become the craft you need. As with all Kontra models, the 450R is produced from polyethylene - a material completely re-cycleable, resistant to weather and mechanical damage.
